About Us!

Bananalands is the brain-vomit of Louisa and Nathan. Both being artists, and both having a need to make stuff (heaps of different, dumb but good stuff), this is a way we can continue to exist as creative humans, whilst paying the bills with our day jobs. Bananalands is a low (no) profit hobby venture, with no intentions of anything at all, apart from presenting small amounts of custom/handmade/design-based bullshit to the public. 

Louisa is a graphic designer and illustrator (Lefty Femmo), and Nathan (Radical Aborigine - Quandamooka Traditional Owner) is a visual artist with a background in screen printing. We are based in Narrm/Melbourne, but both have strong ties to South East Queensland, hence the name. 

As we continue to create and offer our work, you may notice a theme of visually and aesthetically pleasing stuff, and a general intolerance for bigotry and fascism. If you like the sound of that, then drop-in and say hello! We are also willing to barter and trade, so if you’ve got something cool, let us know. 

We acknowledge that we are visitors on Wurundjeri Country, and we pay respect to Elders, both here and elsewhere, as we travel.
